Privacy Policy

A plain-language overview of data handling on the Yono Games website.

Yono Games is an independent app-guide directory. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when someone browses the website, opens a guide, uses search, follows an external destination or contacts the site. The website is designed to provide information without requiring visitors to create a gaming account, provide payment credentials or submit identity documents.

Information this website does not request

The public guide pages do not ask for gaming passwords, one-time codes, bank PINs, card numbers, wallet credentials or identity documents. Visitors should never send those details through a comment, message or external community channel. Yono Games cannot access a third-party app account, approve a withdrawal, process a deposit or recover funds.

First-party website measurement

The custom site system can record an eligible visit to a guide and a valid click on a manually enabled download destination. These two events are measured separately. The system excludes common automated requests and is designed to avoid counting the same visitor repeatedly within a limited period.

To reduce unnecessary collection, the measurement process uses a privacy-conscious, salted one-way identifier. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the custom analytics table. An analytics record may contain the event time, relevant page ID, requested path, broad device category and broad referrer category. These records help identify broken pages, understand which guides are useful and distinguish genuine download actions from unrelated button clicks.

Download, Telegram and navigation events

A download click is counted only when a game has a manually enabled destination that passes the website’s validation rules. A Coming Soon control, installation guide, ordinary page view, View Guide link or Telegram link is not counted as a download. Telegram interactions may be counted separately so that site navigation can be evaluated without presenting those clicks as downloads or app usage.

Server logs and security records

The web server, hosting platform, firewall and security tools may process standard connection information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. This can include an IP address, browser or user-agent details, requested URL, response status and timestamp. Such technical records may be used to investigate errors, abuse, excessive automated traffic or attempted unauthorised access. Server-level handling is separate from the public visitor and download counters.

Cookies and local browser storage

WordPress may set essential cookies for administrators, authenticated sessions and security functions. The public site may also use limited browser storage for interface preferences or measurement deduplication. The custom site does not use those mechanisms to publish a personal gaming profile, infer winnings or create a public rating.

External services opened from a guide may set their own cookies or collect information under their own policies. Visitors should review the destination before sharing personal or financial information.

Search and form information

Search terms entered into the site are used to return relevant game guides and categories. If a visitor sends a correction or enquiry, the information supplied in that message is processed only to understand and respond to the request, maintain a correction record or protect the website from abuse. Do not include sensitive account information.

External websites and app destinations

Game pages may refer to third-party websites, app sources or community channels. A link does not make Yono Games the owner or operator of that destination. External services control their own data collection, account requirements, cookies, payments and retention. Before leaving this site, confirm the destination and read its current privacy terms.

Retention and access

Information should be retained only for a legitimate editorial, security or operational purpose. Access should be limited to people who need it to maintain the website, review an enquiry or investigate abuse. Retention periods may differ between WordPress records, security logs, backups and privacy-conscious analytics because they serve different functions.

Security limitations

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards can reduce risk, but no website or internet transmission can promise absolute security. Visitors should keep devices updated, use unique passwords for third-party services and avoid sharing one-time codes or payment credentials with anyone claiming to represent a game.

Children and age-restricted activity

This directory is not intended to encourage minors to participate in age-restricted or real-money gaming. Eligibility depends on the visitor’s age and location as well as the rules of the relevant service. Parents and guardians should use appropriate device and account controls where necessary.

Questions, corrections and policy changes

Privacy questions or requests to correct information can be submitted through the Contact page. The policy may be updated when website features, measurement practices, legal requirements or third-party integrations change. Material updates should describe the current practice rather than preserve an outdated claim.

Community reviews

When you submit a game review, the site stores the display name, one-to-five rating and review text that you provide. Every submission is held for moderation. If approved, those three fields and the submission date become public on the relevant game guide. Do not include contact, account, identity or payment information in a review.

The review record does not store your email address, raw IP address or browser user-agent. A salted one-way identifier is held temporarily for up to 24 hours to enforce the per-game submission limit; it cannot be used by the public to recover your raw IP address.
